Port Talbot Aquarists' Fish Club

Port Talbot Aquarist Society was formed in 1971 by a group of fish enthusiasts. We have varying levels of experience and knowledge amongst our members. Anyone with an interest in fish are openly welcome to attend any one of our meetings. The society is an affiliated member of the Federation of British Aquatic Society.

Meetings

Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of the month. Beginners questions, raffle, quiz and aquatic talks are usually put on by club members.

The 39^th annual show has come and gone, with 230 entries from exhibitors as far as South East England and the Midlands. A big thank you must go to these exhibitors and also the judges for making the show a successful one

It was also a good day for Port Talbot members with the both championship classes, best in show and a reserve best in show going to club members.

There was a tea bar for refreshments and a busy auction with a vast variety of fish and dry goods to keep you occupied whilst judging was in progress.

The hall was opened to the public after judging where there was a raffle and awards presented.
